Translation Please
So tonight we were getting ready to leave the Bloomers and Addy was nearing bedtime and wanting a drink and for us to squirt whipped cream in her mouth (thanks Uncle Aubrey) . We were finishing up and she just casually said, "I'm going to kick your butt." Which we NEVER say that phrase? I try not to say butt but we never say I'm going to kick your butt. We just don't say it, well somebody does (I have no clue who) and who cares right? So anyway, I told her we don't say that and that sounds ugly etc. She wasn't mad or ugly and it was just really random. So, I go back over to sit down and she looks at me and says, "But Mommy that means "I love you" in Spanish." Where the heck does she come up with these things??? She's so silly. I informed her that her translation was off and I don't want to hear that again....just thought I'd share:)

Paint Fumes
Okay this is really random and it could be the paint fumes. I love Grey's Anatomy, I love it!!! So, I was like 3 weeks behind and there were a couple of re-runs before that. So, I finally had some time last night after I tutored and I watched 2 episodes then today, I watched the one from last night. I'm a little embarrassed to say this but I was seriously crying as I watched. Not just like, teary eyed, I mean like streams down my face. I don't know why I get so emotional over that show. Maybe I just need to cry and Grey's is so touching to me that I can just let it all out. Random thoughts!!

Recap
So this week has been really weird for me. Let me recap....we got back from Florida at 3:30am on Sunday morning. I did take a good long nap Sunday afternoon. I was cleaning closets and getting clothes ready for a consignment sale and to donate. That always takes longer than planned and some of that I can only do at night while the kids are snoozing. I've been tired all week. Tuesday was just an awful day and I'm not even going there. It was an 18 hour day, up at 4:50am and down at 11:30. It was long and that is enough to make it stink. Wednesday was good. We had dinner with a friend from NC and it was so cool to show him our world here. He was loving our new building and it was just a new level of excitement about our work here. Today was okay. I took Addy back to the ENT for our third visit. She still has some hearing loss and pressure in her ears. We're going to give it one more month and if it's not better, we'll have to do tubes. That freaks me out on a few different levels. It is surgery, which isn't something I look forward to. Anyway, one more thing on our plate. I just kind of felt in a funk all day and really for the last couple of days.
The building is getting closer and I'm so ready for us to be in it. It's been kind of consuming the last couple of weeks for Levi and in turn, for me. There are so many last minute things to take care of. It already looks SUPER and I can't wait to be in it. We had Blain over for dinner tonight, he is so fun. The kids and I stopped by the Penny's to visit tonight too. I always enjoy being with them. God has definitely blessed us with some pretty great people here.
I guess that's my random recap. I hope you've had a great week!

Leviticus Shout Out
I can't believe I didn't blog about this earlier but when I came home last weekend, my house was SUPER clean and so was my van. I was so glad. I think i was too exhausted to truly appreciate it but it's been so nice to have a straightened house. I love ya babe!!

I'm Back
We had a great time in Florida with my parents. The kids did SUPER on the trip to and from. I was so glad. We got home way too late last night and we're all kind of pooped. We went to Sea World and I'll have to post pics later. We just hung out, played outside, rode horses, played outside some more. My kids love being outside. My parents have a pool and a kiddie pool and sandbox that my kids could not get enough of. It was a lot of fun. Addy had a really hard time leaving and it breaks my heart. I really have to watch that I don't get resentful about being so far away from my family. I truly hate that part of this. If I focus on that, I really get upset about it. I want to enjoy where God has lead us because I do believe we're supposed to be here. At the same time, it doesn't make it any easier being so far from our families. We've got a busy week ahead. I am getting clothes ready for a big consignment sale here. I finished a box tonight and will try to do more tomorrow. I hope I can make some money so I can "shop" there. I am pooped so I'm signing off.

MIA
It has been a busy week. Xuan and I have been meeting after school tracing, taping, and painting a couple of the kid rooms at Catalyst. They look great by the way. I was in Sulphur Springs today doing a teen talent competition. I leave in the morning for Florida for the week. So, lots going on. I'm super tired but wanted to let everybody know I'll be missing in action for the next week. Have a great week!!

Fun Day at Home
Today the weather outside is awful. It's cold, like 40 degrees after yesterday of 80 degrees. I was going to go to the gym and take Keegan for his 2 year pics but it is seriously yucky outside. By the way, I heard the longer thunder and lightning ever early this morning. It was kind of weird and it did freak me out.
So, we stayed in. Addy actually slept in this morning. When the kids got up, we ate breakfast and just played. It was really nice not to have the tv on. We watched one show and I turned it back off and we made cookies. We have 3 or 4 friends that are either having babies or recovering from surgery or something like that. So, the kids and I made cookies to take to them. We are also taking dinner but I did that part solo:) It was a lot of fun and the kids were so cute in their little aprons helping dump ingredients in. I need to do this kind of stuff more and really have no excuse for not. I also want to be more crafty with the kids.
So, I'm off to help Xuan paint the kid's area at church but wanted to blog about our day and post a couple of pics.
The random one is while I was finishing up in the kitchen, Addy starts yelling for me to come in to Keegan standing on his new train table....nice!! They got Levi's guitar stand out of his office and were using it as a mic, you can see Addy singing her heart out:)

Keegan's 2
So, Keegan turned 2 yesterday. I cannot believe my baby is 2. It really is crazy how fast time flies. We celebrated at Chuck E. Cheese last night. He is so much fun. We got him a train table and trains. So fun!!! Our kids both love Chuck E. Cheese but they're scared of Chuck E. He came out last night and Keegan literally ran away, he high tailed it. It was pretty funny that he just took off. He got about 20 feet from us and realized he left us. It was so cute! Anyway, I thought I'd include some pics from last night.

gotta blog
I've just got to blog for a second here. I am so blessed. I just had this overwhelming sense of love today which is awesome.
I had a great weekend. Friday night we took Fred & Patsy out to dinner. They are some of the nicest people around. Wendi kept our kids and we hung out with she and Erik afterwards. We laugh so much when we're with them. It is so refreshing!!!
Saturday I felt awful when I woke up. Levi was reffing. When he came home, he offered to take the kids to lunch and to play while I slept. Seriously, 4 hours later I woke up!! It was so nice and I felt a ton better. Saturday night, he continued to play Mr. Mom so I could go to Savor Dallas with Xuan. She and I had so much fun. We dodged all of the video cameras this year since they caught us last year stuffing our faces. I really didn't eat as much nor did I try anything "new" (except buffalo).
Today we had a great service at Catalyst. Levi preached about our relationship with Christ being worth it and how sometimes following Christ can sound negative before you do it. He paralleled it to the parenting relationship and how before you become a parent if someone were to spell out how different your life would be, it doesn't sound like much fun. BUT, after you become a parent and your heart like multiplies by ten-ba-jillion, every sacrifice (loss of adult tv, loss of freedom, lack of sleep, etc.) is all worth it. It was really cool. I love hearing Levi talk about our kids and his love for them. I love our kids and I cannot imagine life without them.
We ate with Erik & Wendi at Dickeys...kids eat free and it was good. Keegan got a great nap. I got a mini nap while Addy went through the 100 opposites she knows. We played outside with our neighbors while Levi was biking with Blain & Bryan. When he got home, we hung out with our neighbors. They are great people. Then, we took the kids up to the church parking lot to ride their battery operated car and bulldozer. They were so cute. We looked around the church again. It is amazing that the building is actually almost ready. I am so excited!!! I seriously cannot wait. Keegan hurt his toe and it bled....grossed me out a little. Erik was working at church so we again ate with he and Wendi at Burger Island. It was so good and our waitress, Spencer, was so fun!
Keegan's birthday is tomorrow and Ruth made him a cake. It is so super cute. We picked it up tonight. We just got to hang out with them, this is where I thought it was 7:30 and it was really 8:30...it totally threw me off. We have met some of the coolest, kindest people here and I am so thankful....

Diaper Changing
So Addy and I went to get Keegan up this morning and I went to change his diaper. She told me she wanted to do it. So, I unveiled the diaper to find poop. She started gagging and said, "Nevermind, I don't want to do it." I got so tickled at her. She did help me fasten the new clean diaper, it was so cute!!
They've played so well today while I've been catching up on laundry. They played all morning, it was so fun to listen to. I love it!!

Full Day Already
It is almost 9am and I've been up 4 hours...crazy I know. I went to the 5am turbo class. I like to do that on Tuesdays because it gets it out of the way. Then, I met the girls at Starbucks. I came home and cleaned the kitchen, caught up on emails, added movies to our netflix queue with Addy, and started laundry. Today will be productive (I'm trying to convince myself).
Last night, we had our last (hopefully) band practice away from our new building. Next month, we'll be able to practice there. It really is so exciting. I say that and in the next breath I'm going to complain there my foyer area is filled with boxes of kid's tables, chairs, changing tables, a big ole' tv box, etc. I'm trying to not be bothered by that stuff and realize that it will be gone soon enough.
Time to go change over the laundry and be productive, I told you it's going to be a productive day!!

Tom Thumb Fun
I have to blog about my latest coupon adventure. I usually shop at Walmart but this week the deals at Tom Thumb were AWESOME! I went Friday night (kidless) and had all my coupons ready to go. Well, I was a day early for their 48 Hour Sale. However, they had a Chill Out deal where you bought $25 worth of participating frozen foods and you get a $10 coupon on your receipt. So, I stocked up on a bunch of WW meals, treats, etc.
I went back Saturday with both kids in tow...yeah it was pretty exciting. This is what I bought (yes I'm going to list it).
2 boxes of fruit snacks
bag of marshmallows
2 cans of Manwich
2 bowls of microwave oatmeal
4 pack of Charmin
Raisin Bran
3 microwave Progresso Soups
2 cans of refried beans
2 cans of Campbells Soups
Pam Spray
2 Liter of Diet DP
eggs
3 gallons of milk
butter (real butter)
Crest Pro Health Toothpaste
4 lb roast
6 lbs of pork loin
9 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
fresh broccoli crowns
1 cucumber
zucchini
2 lbs of strawberries
1 lb baby carrots
1 head lettuce
My total precoupons or pre-card was $180 something.
When I swiped my card it went down to $87.
I had $34.29 in coupons.
My total was $47.
That was for 19 lbs of meat...CRAZY!! I was so proud. Just had to share!!
